Join in the science!

Students, Citizen Scientists and Researchers alike, are invited to join the epidemiology cancer studies throughout Southeastern Idaho, and in particular Rexburg, Idaho and the Pocatello Valley. Similar to the Safecast Pocatello Valley - Uranium Safety project of which both scientists and citizen scientists are working with 'on the ground' confirmations to the "Areal Radiological Survey of Pocatello, Soda Springs, and Beyond" study maps developed by EG& G Las Vegas.

Many new information sites are available on-line. The PVV-US is proud to be able to participate in this live saving endeavor for our Pocatello Valley. The project sponsors are lending assistance to OSHA and the South Eastern Idaho Health Department - SIPH with cancer data and documents that were stolen regarding the only 2 attempts at delivering the Pocatello Valley and Bannock County Cancer Epidemiology study. We are looking for College students from Idaho State University, BYU North, Boise State University, the University of Moscow ,and beyond that would like to help.
Some of the work will be done regarding existing OSHA cancer data collected in Southeastern Idaho as well as Eastern Idaho. We have over 100,000 documents that need screening and review.
