Mayor Brian Blad Interviews Idaho Lorax

Pocatello Mayor Brian Blad Onceler – Pushes Panic Button on Lorax

At the 'Save the Trees' Pocatello Town Meeting regarding the Army Corp Of Engineers tree destruction levee efforts, Pocatello Mayor, Brian Blad, harassed the Idaho Lorax during the Town Meeting. Apparently in front of a full house at the City Council Chambers, the Mayor tried desperately to prevent Idaho Lorax from speaking at the Town Meeting. A meeting stimulated by Idaho Lorax and the Idaho Lorax group there in Pocatello, Idaho, in their efforts to expose corruption in that small city.

The Lorax Group were the party responsible for the whistle-blowing on the tree destruction river levee issue in the first place. This tree destruction levee issue was performed by the City Street Department where decisions were undertaken in a manner which involved 'sneaking' into Sacajawea Park unannounced during a record cold spell in the midst of January and early February to perform their up-rooting and smashing of trees at the Lorax Beaver Wildlife Refuge, whereby disrupting the Lorax Group's Pocatello FMC Michaud Flats Superfund Uranium Contamination Site next to the Portneuf river levee.

From the beginning of the meeting, the Mayor had the sign-up speaking list put at an obscure place such that very few of the many concerned residents present even knew of its location. After the first public comment was made, by Louis Archuletta, Idaho made haste to the podium to sign in to speak. The Mayor tried to stop Idaho from signing the list to speak at the town meeting, whereby the mayor requested to have the list brought to him while Idaho was signing it and ask people to stop Idaho from signing in. The Mayor even demanded that somebody cross-out Idaho Lorax's name from the speakers list. Failing in that attempt, the Mayor was forced to allow Idaho to speak. But as Idaho began, the mayor then abruptly interrupted Idaho's '3-minutes of democracy' by further harassing Idaho Lorax and demanding that Idaho stop speaking at the town meeting regarding the level issue.

Unbeknownst to all, the Mayor had pushed the ‘Kill Order Panic Button' under  the counter where the mayor sat summoning the 'swat team' to remove Idaho from the proceedings. Idaho, having finished the presentation in less than 3 minutes, went and sat quietly in the back of the crowd when suddenly the Police and SWAT rushed in. The Police, not knowing why they were summoned, except to strictly following their prescribed protocol--which would be specifically for bomb and shooting incidents.

Locating Idaho, whom got up and joined them, was be escorted out of the town meeting. The removal was forceful and pushy as the police had no choice but to responded and follow emergency protocol--- as if Idaho was a had a bomb or assault rife.

Once outside the building, the officers had asked Mr Idaho Lorax what this was all about, whereby Idaho explained that he was simply trying to share information regarding the criminal activity performed by the Mayors Street Supervisor.

Whereby the officers returned back into the public town meeting to speak with the mayor Brian Blad. Upon their return, the Police informed Mr Lorax that a ban enacted on Mr Lorax from the  mayor and city hall trying to use the emergency response protocol. Idaho objected, whereby the officers went back into the town meeting and talked to the mayor. Upon their return and knowing that the mayor was out-of line, Mr Idaho Lorax himself agreed not to return to the town meeting that night, and that the event and issues would be brought up at Idaho's regular meeting with the City Attorney the next day.

We understand, reports were made, and an investigation has been called by Idaho regarding harassment by the mayor against Idaho's character, person, and life.

Preceding this 'town meeting' event, we learned that Idaho Lorax, had met with the Supervisor of the City Streets Department regarding 3 pertinent issues which the Army Corp of Engineers were not aware of since their meeting with the city several years earlier. During that meeting, the then Pocatello Street Operations Department Superintendent, Randy Ghezzi was made aware of the 3 issues that the Army Corp would have to re-examine before any further action can take place.

Two of those issues regarded worker and public safety prevention to exposure to Elemental Uranium Dust from the Superfund Site adjacent to the river levee and heavy metal sediment disruption in the river. The third issue regarded the Lorax Beaver Wildlife Refuge project study area, which is believed to be the most unique beaver nursery in North America. A Project the Lorax Group and others organizations are actively working to protect. Their efforts include their introduction of the 'Pocatello Wildlife Protect Act' --a city ordinance legislation to bring protection to the beaver nursery, other wildlife, and pets in Pocatello and Pocatello's most unique remaining open space area. This ordinance is especially concerned with preventing trapping within the city.

In a possible related matter, we also learned that Idaho Lorax's candidacy for Mayor has already been announced. Even though a mass of signatures has been collected, the city clerk is stalling regarding the submittance and acceptance of the notarized documents.

ZONE III Uranium Contamination source areas. History: The First up-rising regarding the Uranium materials contamination began in the University Housing District and Washington Elementary school in the 1980's with the culmination of M.A.D.'s (Mothers Against Death) success of exposing the dangers and getting it outlawed for use, distribution, deposition on properties. Today, 2018, and the materials have still not been removed nor cleaned up by the EPA, Environmental Protection Agency, nor the City Government, the Pocatello Board of Trusties for Pocatello/Chubbuck Schools, nor the Health Department SIPH. A classic example is Tendoy Elementary School where the deadly materials still have not removed from Pocatello schools, nor from areas adjacent to our children's public schools.
