What you sow is what you get - Radioactive City, ID

YOU WERE ALL WARNED.
Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.
In Pocashima colloquial speech: "
What you sow is what you get"

And you can thank the Saterfield Realtors, the Greater Pocatello Uranium Realtors, Spring Creek Realtors, Bannock County Planning and Development Council, Pocatello Development Authority, Neighborworks, Radioactive City - Pocatello City Council and Mayor Brian Blad.

Lorax “The Toxic Avenger”

Though the Headlines of the Idaho State Journal and the City Council of Pocatello try to portray him as a joke and almost a fool, his argument about the ever increasing mountain of Elemental Phosphorus has been alarming to me for my children, grandchildren and great-grandchild’s future here in Pocatello and Chubbuck. I came to this valley only 12 years ago and remarried, watching my grandsons grow and watched in horror as the west bank has continued to grow with what was explained to me a material so toxic and radioactive it’s use on roadways and driveways were discontinued back in the 90’s. Yet after FMC closed this County and Townships with the EPA allowed Simplot to continue to pile their waste to leach into the water we drink and bath in. Out the backdoor of the home I built has been almost a front seat to what most turn a blind eye to, worrying more about the Greenway or upsetting the cart with Simplot. Sponsoring the Simplot games does not give the right to knowingly pollute our waters, fisheries or our children!

I agree with the Shone/Bannock Tribes and Lorax something has to be done. Last week I walked out on my back deck and was hit in the face with a “strong” natural gas smell; checking my house first as my wife called the City of Chubbuck, I ran next door fearing the worst for my neighbors and our neighborhood. Later to find out Simplot and their 8” gas main purges raw gas into their furnaces prior to ignition and EPA Standards have laxer Standards since the economic crisis to the tune of 32+% pollution that rolls yellow into the valley. I actually have a photo album labeled “The Toxic Valley” on my Facebook page with photos of the plumes from Simplot and the growth of FMC/Simplot’s Elemental Phosphorus Plateau as it has grown above the end of our west bank. Get on track before the only water fit for consumption comes from a bottle filled out of state. Take a Geiger-counter up on Simplot’s Bluff, take soil samples and rain/snow runoff samples; Stop being controlled by Big Businesses and Lazy Politicians!

Living With Uranium - Idaho State University district.

LIVING WITH URANIUM: ALL WE CAN DO IS TO INFORM YOU. The Choice of what you are willing to live with is all your own. But please do not bring the children with you. ZONE III Uranium Contamination source areas. History: The First up-rising regarding the Uranium materials contamination began in the University Housing District and Washington Elementary school in the 1980's with the culmination of M.A.D.'s (Mothers Against Death) success of exposing the dangers and getting it outlawed for use, distribution, deposition on properties. Today, 2018, and the materials have still not been removed nor cleaned up by the EPA, Environmental Protection Agency, nor the City Government, the Pocatello Board of Trusties for Pocatello/Chubbuck Schools, nor the Health Department SIPH. A classic example is Tendoy Elementary School where the deadly materials still have not removed from Pocatello schools, nor from areas adjacent to our children's public schools. The resulting actions o
